Well, Sort of.
Oprah today did a brief interview with two owners involved in a swap. I didn't see the show, but listened in to it via cell phone, and didn't recognized the two names of the owners involved.
The segment was in the context of a program on strategies to deal with the current economy. In the little of it I heard , it left more questions and confusion that before. There was no "expert" to describe the process and rationale. Oprah seemed genuinely intrigued but was not given a sufficient explanation. She even recommended to check if this is legal in your state.
Also, no mention was made of any online sites, or how someone watching the show might get involved. There are certainly a large number of viewers who would have benefited from some additional information.
Oprah's producer actually called me prior to the show. I tried to provide them some of our past successful swappers, who are also excellent interviews. Of course I volunteered myself as well discussing the importance of swapping in this economy and housing market/crisis.
Let me know if you saw the show and have any feedback. I really think Oprah could really make a difference in this economy if she got behind swapping.
