Would you be interested in looking at my home to purchase? It would obviously have to be a short sale as the value will be below what I owe, but thought I'd ask.

As you know, the market is quite volatile and because of all the foreclosures in the state, it's hard to pin down. This will likely cause values right now to be under actual levels, until the foreclosures/short sales work through the system in the next year or so. Longer term, it will likely see what California is seeing in some areas with 20-30% over list price and bidding wars. I checked with a real estate agent today and he thinks it would likely be in the lower-mid $200's.

I haven't had an appraisal recently, but would be willing to get one as part of the process.

I don't have any pictures. The home is located at 6228 Statue Street, North Las Vegas, 89031. I closed on 12/31/04. It's a 4 bed, 2,300 sq foot home, gated community in N. Vegas, close access to the 215 and I-15. I can scan a floor plan and some other info and email it to you or something. If you want to send me your phone, we could discuss on the phone as well.

We have a 4 bed, 2,300 sq foot home in a gated community in N. Las Vegas and would be very interested in trading with you if it works out. We live in Utah currently. The appraisal might be tough as all of Vegas is beaten down because of foreclosures, but I'm sure we could make something work. Let me know if you're interested and perhaps we could come look at the Draper home.
