House Swapping Version 2.0

Serenity can be found from each room of this custom 3 br./3 ba. Lindal cedar home that has never been lived in. Only 8 miles from Emerald Isle and shopping to suite all your needs.  Boat to Swansboro for lunch or dinner or enjoy cocktails on the dock.

The home greets you with a two car detached garage featuring unfinished walk about storage above.  This space could easily be finished off for a bonus room, home office,

or guest space.

Upon entering the home, one is amazed at the space ahead  containing soaring ceilings to 35' and a wall of windows.  In the foyer space, there is an entrance to a large bedroom, a coat closet, and full bath that meets ADA requirements.  The living space contains a gas fireplace, living and dining space and a large kitchen with cooking island, granite counter tops and custom maple cabinets.  A double oven is sure to please the chef in the house.  Off the kitchen is a large

laundry room housing a walk in pantry and full sink/cabinet space.

Also on this level is the master bedroom offering walk in closet and master bath with garden jacuzzi, separate shower, water closet, double sinks, and additional closet space.

Cable is wired in for relaxing during a hot tub.  A 10' X 70' deck is accessed off the bedroom
and living space, with a cut out near the master wired for an outdoor jacuzzi.

The second level houses a 3rd loft bedroom with private balcony and full bath.  This area could easily be framed in with french doors or left open as a home office, guest

bedroom, art studio, or den.

Appraised at $535,000, listed at $484,500.  Looking to downsize to a vacation home preferably on the water near recreational opportunities.  Would consider a property that could be a B & B.

They are now posted. It took me a while to figure out how to download pictures!
I have an up-scale condo in downtown St. Petersberg, FL ($350,000), a small building lot in Key Largo, FL ($50,000), and a condo in Wilmington, NC (145,000). Would you be interested in an even trade?
Hi Cliff,

We would have to know a lot more but it does sound intriguing. Please send additional information with pictures, tax info., assessments, etc. Thanks.

Hi Cliff,

Haven't heard from you. Were you still interested in communicating further?

Flo
Would you consider a home, in ground pool, barn, all on 10 very private acres in Lake City, Fl., ?
Yes, please send the information.
Our home is in Lake City, Fl. a very nice town, with beautiful hills and mostly farming. There is plenty to do here and if it is not here, thee is a Super Wal Mart, Publix, Food Lion, Winn-Dixie, etc. for shopping and if it is not here it is in Gainesville, only 35 miles away.

Our home is 2800 sq. ft. open floor plan, with in ground pool, barn and all on 10 very private acres off the main road down a short lane. We have a gate at the end of our drive, only two neighbors that are close enough to see from our home. It is a 3/2 bath with attached garage. There is also another inground septic tank that would be ready for a RV hookup or mother-in-law apartment or mobile home.

Here is some additional pictures of our home. We would have to be able to trade equal as we are both retired and on a set income. Thanks, Vicki

If we could work out a trade in the 400-450K range you have listed, this could be pursued. I am very familiar with the area, having grown up in Florida and with a sister in Gainesville. Your place has interest for us. Our place is on the east coast of NC where the weather is extremely favorable year round. Let me know what your thoughts are.
We would have to trade even if and when we find something as all our assets are tied up these days. If you think we could do a treade let us know. Thanks. Vicki

I will have to run it past my husband to respond. Do you know what your place would appraise at? Our recently appraised at $535,000.
My husband and I are wondering if you could do something with regards to your South Carolina home. Could you send pictures and the general information? Unless your Florida home appraised near what we owe on ours ($417,000), an even trade would not work for us. However, if you could consider the SC property in the mix, we may be able to work something out. Please let us know. Thanks.
