Versatile 3/3 Home in Orlando, Florida -- trade for FL SC NC TN

  Got married in 2006, moved to St. Petersburg where my husband lives.  Need to sell or swap equity in my Orlando home for something equivalent anywhere along the western, gulf side of Florida, including the Panhandle.  Also, might like a mountain place that we could retire in (we're near that age).  The minimum requirements are 2/2 w/ minimum square footage of, say, 1300sq ft.  Or we might like a home over here in the Pinellas county area that has an alley access in the back with room to make a shop area for my husband's electrical contracting business.  Whatever we can do by buying with an equity swap for the down payment, and owner financing, is what we'll do.

  The 3/3 Orlando home has 1560 sq. ft. with two master bedroom suites - one with its own hot water heater, and the other with its own private entrance.  The house was built in 1950, and the basic structure is very sound.  We totally updated it in 2007, expecting to sell it.  We enlarged the kitchen and put in granite countertops. 

We also put in new floring, and added a pantry. 

We replaced all the windows, put in new carpeting, and wood blinds, and updated the front patio.  But the market just wasn't right, and we could not foresee what was going to happen to the Real Estate market.  .  The original bathroom in the hall near two of the bedrooms still has the orginal tile.  

But the first remodel in the 80's added on more square footage, and a full bath and walk-in closet to one of the bedrooms, making it the first master bedroom. It also has its own hot water heater.  In 1988, a room on the opposite side of the house was remodeled and a large walk-in 6'X8' dressing suite and closet were added, as well as a full bathroom.  That room has an entry/exit out to the back yard area,through the laundry room.  Also that year, the family room was paneled in with cedar, and a working fireplace was added in the corner. 

There is a concrete slab out back, as well as a raised deck area in the far corner, perfect for entertaining.  Also in the back is a large, conventionally built storage building. There is no garage, but there is a large, circular driveway.  The home is located on the edge of the historic neighborhood known as Delaney Park.
