Would like to swap our 2 houses in central GA (Macon) for a house/property in SoFL – you must own free and clear like us. Location: one hour south of Atlanta. Total combined value approx. $130G by the Bibb County Tax Office 2010 assessments. Macon is the location of Mercer University – which has a medical school and a law school. It is also home to central Georgia’s main referral medical center-- the MCCG (or Medical Center of Central Georgia).
Our 2 houses have many rooms, big tall windows, some hardwood flooring, porches (one has wrap-around porch and vinyl sidings), both have 2 full toilet-baths, very large backyards with old pecan trees, central heat-AC systems, nice lawns. Burglar bars are on all the windows.
You can live in one house and rent out the other like we used to do. We live in FL now, and are having difficulties managing these 2 properties from far away. PLEASE .. we don’t want vacant lands, condo, mortgage, town homes, nor any homeowner’s association fees.
