We're just open to real estate anything that makes sense in this weird market. I know little of the exchange option but perhaps this is a possibility. I have the house listed but I'd take it off the market if another route was viable. I'm looking to downsize with a lower mortgage. Probably find something in the high fours to mid-five. Not desperate to unload by any means. We just want a charming place with a good view, a 'personality' house. Santa Fe County preferable to the city, but the right house in the city is ok as well. My properties are higher value, with the exception of a duplex. So, it doesn't sound like they would work. They are all on the historic eastside, thus their higher value and specific kind appeal.
