House Swapping Version 2.0

Northern Wyoming- Yellowstone National Park is my backyard! Horse property, 20 acres, 4 bdrm, 2 bth, 2 car garage , barn- will consider Port Charlotte, Florida/St. Louis, Missouri

Beautiful property just a few miles from East Entrance from Yellowstone National Park! This is in the green foothills of the Northern Rocy Mountains- not the barren areas! Great farming is right here! 1780 sq ft, 4 bedroom, 2 bath, loft, 2 story, passive solar home. There is a masterbedroom/bath on 1st floor, with 3 bedrooms, bath and loft on 2nd floor. Horse barn with 2 padded stalls and 24'x24' overhang for more stalls or hay storage. There are several paddocks and small pasture fenced at the barn, and another 17 acres fenced in a larger pasture. CLEAN CLEAN!! This home is a second home, so it is lived in approximately 6 months a year! House built in 1985, the house has always been kept updated- new kitchen, baths. New carpeting, paint, tile-all neutral colors. Higher end appliances, Fisher-Paykel dish drawers, Amana stove/refrigerator. There is a 'whole house water filtration' system. Laundry room has Asko washer/dryer, with 2nd larger washer for horse blankets. Larger outside patio is new, as is 2 car driveway. This is an economical home- all electric, radiant heat, (Cove Heat), Harman Pellet Stove. There is a second chimney that an antique wood cookstove uses! If there is a RARE outage, you still have a warm home. My utility bills are much less than comparable homes- sometimes 1/2 the cost! This is a solid- literally -home- 6 inch solid concrete exterior walls, cedar roof and siding. All Anderson Windows. The southern exposure is a large bank of Anderson Windows that offer a beautiful view of the town below- Powell, Wyoming. Powell has a population of 5,000. This is a safe town to raise your children! We have a well known Community College-Northwest. The lower level schools are Park County- better schools than the average. Cody, Wyoming is 22 miles away- a tourist and historical town of about 10,000. There is a multitude of things to do all year round- from riding your horses in the Northern Rocky Mountain Range, snow skiing, hiking in Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, looking for wild horses in the Pryor Mountains, hunting big game in season, such as bear, elk, Mountain Sheep, cougar. There is a new high-school under construction. Bring your children, bring your horses and enjoy your own paradise! The house is fully furnished with new, higher end furniture and some antique's. Household furnishing and small farm equipment is also for sale- 4-wheeler, manure spreader, small disc for a garden, flatbed trailer. The mature trees provide shade in summer, let sunshine in during the winter. There is room for a wonderful huge garden! This is a nicer, clean horse property home (can also raise livestock), there is a seasonal creek running through the property. Wyoming is state income tax free. Property taxes are VERY reasonable- my property tax was $1,200 this year! Come look- you won't be disappointed! Willing to trade/sell for small Port Charlotte, Florida/St. Louis, Missouri, possible other states. I want a small home/farm/condo. I am open to ideas. At the price of $299,900 you won't find a nicer, comparable home- I promise!

I have a ranch in New Mexico if you have an interest. Small home with 80+ acres could be split off. Timbered land on top of a high mesa. Wonderful year around temps. Near Las Vegas, NM. Let me know if this would be of interest. Thanks.

Hi R&S! Thhanks for looking. I have a condo in Texas that I live in, in the wnter- well, at least most winters!
When this house is sold, I will the go live in the Texas condo and sell it also- then move back to Florida! I love the southwest weather- but it is gettin too dangerous by the Mexico border. I like the 'green' in Florida- it is so easy to grow anything! I do hope it won't be too hard to sell this home- the economy isn't too good...
Hi JH, To tell the truth I haven't even tried to find out about them. I would guess that the pics are not on 'Realtor.com' anymore, as the house is not listed.
There is a new real estate magazine coming out in May- it was supposed to be advertised in it- the withdrawal date had already expired when I took it off the market, so am not sure if it will be in it or not. It will be listed again about beginning of May- should have pics then.(I had a ca scare, so it wasn't even in my mind)

Do you have any photos?
Hi.
would you consider a lake front custom built home in Deltona, Florida? Do you have any trouble with predators in Wyoming? Even though I have been on water the last 27 years of my life....the last 4 1/2 years being here in Florida, I have often thought of having a ranch in Wyoming. You can view my home in Florida Properties...under incredible sunsets...etc.
If you could send lots of photos, it would be appreciated. You can contact me on njh1950@hotmail.com.

Thank you. NJ

Sorry- I haven't looked at domuswap in months- it seems like a useless site.
I tried to email you at the address you provided, but it would not go through.
Right now Florida property seems to be worth next to nothing- I possibly wouldn't mind buying in your area, but there would be money owed to me.
If you haven't been here, this is the most beautiful part of the country! I just love it- snow in winter, moose, bear, elk, wolves, beautiful mountains- blah blah blah!!
Are you retired? Or will you work- if I know what you do, maybe I could put you in touch with some of the right people.

Bye- DC

Sorry, but I am thinking domuswap is pretty lame....this is the first time anyone contacted me in 6 months. zI have also read online some pretty negative material on domuswap.

Anyway, I think I am pretty settled in my mind to go back to Florida.

Right now, I am in the process of putting on a new roof. I will put a new floor on the first fllor and move the stairs this spring. Then put it up for sale with a realtor. Maybe then I will get some bites!
So you think Domuswap is lame?! Well I requested photos from you over eight months ago, and you never sent them, and you STILL don't have any photos posted on this site!!! Now THAT is LAME. How the heck do you expect anyone to be interested in anything without any photos at all posted?! People are not going to waste time and money traveling long distances to see property, if they can't get a preview by being able to see lots of good clear photos that show what you have to offer. Dave has been kind enough to offer a FREE website for all to use, and you can either do some networking on here to try to get some results; or you can sit back and exert minimal effort and wait for The Tooth Fairy to deliver the perfect property trade to your door. Maybe you'd get more out of Domuswap, if you'd decide to put forth more of an effort.
