Greetings!

Are you interested in a 4-bedroom colonial on 3 acres with an adjoining already perked 3-acre lot in Leesburg, VA? We are about 45 minutes from D.C. I will be posting photos soon. We can offer some owner financing and we would possibly be interested in leasing back our home for awhile. We built the home about 5 years ago. We first wanted to see if you would be interested in our area before going into details.

Were you able to rent the condo most of the time during the summer months and how is the weather in spring and fall?

Thanks much!
David and Sarah Bilowus
Hi, David & Sarah:

Could be a consideration. My primary interest is to trade my condo for a 2nd home. Originally purchased the condo as investment, but am considering splitting the year between 2 homes. I work from the home and can live pretty much anywhere. But the condo has limited my borrowing power. Have a pretty good Summer Season of rental history that I can share with you. This will be the first Winter, and as expected, income has dropped off a bit in the last couple of months. Product of the slowing economy and characteristic drop in tourism between Nov and March.

Your property sounds beautiful and likely out of my range, but I'm open to discussing further. Spring and Fall are beautiful in Charleston. My favorite seasons. Mild temps, just enough rain and plenty of sunshine for outdoor activities. The beaches are great!

I'd be interested in learning more about your Leesburg place and to get more of your thoughts.

Happy New Year!

Hi your place looks very nice. We have a beautiful home in North Carolina. It is 25 mins from waynesville / maggie valley, 35 min from asheville/blueridge parkway. To see pictures - you can visit our website at www.benitezhomes.com under ready to buy. The home is the 2nd one down the page. It is appraised at 720k but we are asking 599k it also has 6 acres.
thank you

Hello,
We have a 2001 home in Georgetown CO which is 10 minutes to Loveland Ski Area, 20 minutes to A Basin and 30 minutes to Keystone. Copper is also 30 minutes away and Vail is 45 minutes to an hour depending on how you drive.
Georgetown is old Historic Mining town and quaint as well as tiny. Our home is large and beautiful and gives you the best of both worlds as you are halfway to Denver or Vail. So go either to the mountains or to the city comfortably.
It is now listed for 399K. We just dropped the price for quick sale. We also own a new condo in Frisco, CO. That is the heart of Summit County if you have been here you know. We are a couple blocks from the Marina and a block off of Main Street. Great view of Buffalo Mountain
and right here in the thick of all the skiing. We are looking to downsize and miss the ocean.
We are originally from Maine and NH and are unfamiliar with SC. Have heard it is beautiful so we are interested if you are. We are already on domuswap with the Georgetown home. Our Frisco Condo is in Bears Den and you could google that to get an idea of what ours is like. Will send you pics if you ask. Our Condo cost 470K in 2007. It is great to be here and great town. Easy access to everything. If you chose Breckenridge there are more traffic issues. But then you would be right next to the mountain. We like access to Copper as the bus stop is a block away and it takes you right to the lifts at Copper for free.
So anyway. Our only question at this point for you is; are dogs allowed?
Joanne
Hi, Joanne:

Happy New Year! Your home looks beautiful and quite possibly a fit for me. Though, currently my condo is showing better than expected rental reservations for 2010 and I'm considering holding it for another season to take advantage of what's projected to be a pretty good revenue year. And regretfully, no pets allowed in The Village. But, I would definitely recommend SC beach properties. The beaches are dog friendly and absolutely beautiful. Charleston is a wonderful city. If you consider a trip this way to take a look around, would be happy to have you in the condo as an owner guest!

Bruce
Happy New Year Bruce,
We liked hearing it might be a fit for you. But what would we need to do; have a 3 way swap since we have dogs etc. or we could consider your place just for rental income if you are really interested in our place.
We will talk more I hope, but take your time.
Joanne
