House Swapping Version 2.0

We own a home in Chimney Hill, 7 miles north of Hixson close to the river. We have apx 3100 sq.ft. three-4 brs, 2.5 baths, 1-2 large bonus rooms (one of which is suitable for a big br), 2 car garage, boat garage, two heating and cooling units, new roof, one acre of nicely landscaped yard, including a big tiered flower garden. House was built in 2000.

Need similar sized home in Dunlap-Pikeville to cut down on commute.

Dear Maryanne:

You seem to have a very nice home.  I know that North Georgia is not on your mind.

However, please keep us in mind for a 3-way trade.

By the way, what is the value of your home?

Thanks for your inquiry. We are taxed on about $240,000. Records don't reflect the large bonus room over the garage that was finished, stating we have 2700+ square feet. Why report finishing a room and raising your taxes? I know in today's market we would have difficulty getting more than $225,000. Ours is not a fancy, brick home. It's well built, but more basic construction. We love the house, but my commute to Pikeville is too far and getting old after doing it for 5 years!

Maryanne, I have 66 acres on the plateau overlooking the valley, off Valleyview and Downhill (Overlook)RDS it is called sometimes. Bledsoe County very close to Cumberland County.

No house Electric is close, great deer and turkey It was for sale last year for 167,000. I know how bad things are there.

we want to sell but would look at trades. I understand about no home on the property.  Taxes are 112.00 per year.

I wish you good luck We just want a change so we have a vacation home to go to from Florida.

Thanks Tom
