House Swapping Version 2.0

We want to trade our Caribbean beach front home located 1 hour south of Cancun directly on a beautiful white sandy beach. Snorkel and SCUBA directly off your beach! Beach house sits on a deep lot along with a casita (seperate studio apartment that sleeps 2 in a king bed). The main house has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Wide open views of the crystal Caribbean from every room. Fully furnished and currently producing vacation rental income of around $50,000/year. Last year was closer to $75,000, but the worldwide mortgage crash has had an impact on vacation rentals. 2 years ago similar beach houses along our beach in Aventuras Akumal were selling for $1.5 mm. We are looking to swap for US real estate valued at $900,000. Preferably with a current income stream.

WE HAVE A HISTORIC BED & BREAKFAST IN ASHEVILLE, NC CURRENTLY LEASED AND WORTH ABOUT $650,000 (MORE BEFORE CRASH). SITS ON UNDER 2 ACRES OF COMMERCIAL/RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY.

THANKS,
RENEE
Hi Renee...Casa Palapa is currently listed for below it's current value--$889,000. Before the crash, beach houses like ours along our beach sold for a minimum of $1.5 mm.

The last 2 hurricanes (the first in 15 years) brought lots more sand to our beach. We put up our hurricane shutters and rode it out.

We enjoy answering questions and telling people about Akumal, so ask away.

Please send us a web site and some photos of your property
Looks like a nice property in S.C., but we still prefer the Riviera Maya to S.C.
In addition, we're netting $75K in annual rental income.
Thanks anyway, and we wish you the best in your search.
